About our Team

The team you will be working with spans the UK and India, including internal customers and stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing strategic and technical security direction for multiple teams in these regions, managing your team, and driving a high-performance security culture. You will also collaborate with Cirium’s Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to ensure security priorities are addressed and negotiated successfully.

About the Role

As Manager of Information Security at Cirium, you will safeguard information systems and assets by identifying and addressing security concerns. You will work with engineering teams across the UK and India, including internal stakeholders. Reporting to the VP of Technology, this role is key to our operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide security strategy and technical guidance for multiple teams across regions.
• Manage your team and foster a high-security-performance culture.
• Promote Incident Process, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and Disaster Recovery practices.
• Leverage your experience with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Identify opportunities to improve and standardize security practices, working with stakeholders to deliver value.
• Track and report on security initiatives' progress to senior leadership using data-driven methods.

Requirements

• Experience solving complex security issues in technical and strategic roles, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work with teams building secure platform components and applying risk mitigation strategies.
• Experience managing and coaching teams, influencing security practices at various organizational levels.
• Proven ability to demand and deliver security improvements without compromising overall security.
• Understanding of balancing security frameworks with business needs, influencing adoption over time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global, diverse teams.
