The Opportunity
As a Security Manager reporting to the Security Engineering Senior Manager within our Enterprise Information Security team, you will be responsible for providing security services to the wider EDF UK group.
Our Engineering team is a team of approximately 25 security engineering professionals, who are responsible for securing our cloud environments, data centres and EDF offices across the country.
You’ll manage our security engineers, helping to provide suitable direction across workloads and will deliver improvements to our ways of working, including our engineering standards, processes, and procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will support the ongoing personal development of the security engineers and map individuals’ strengths and development needs to our engineering competency framework.
You’ll collaborate with multiple different stakeholders from across our Enterprise Information Technology, as well as working closely with several different individuals from each of the EDF Business Units.
You’ll be involved in hiring and onboarding staff, including contractors, to set them up to succeed.
It will be your responsibility to ensure we meet our regulatory requirements, which change between the different business that EIS support.
