Qualifications

• Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related security role with hands-on technical skills.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical locks, electronic access systems, safes, and master key systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and precision.
• Valid locksmith license or certification as required by local laws (where applicable).
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform manual tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of locks, safes, and security systems across multiple sites.
• Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate locking solutions.
• Program electronic access control systems and biometric locks for enhanced security measures.
• Respond promptly to lockout situations or emergency lock repairs to minimize downtime.
• Keep detailed records of all installations, repairs, and system updates for future reference.
• Collaborate with facility managers and security teams to develop tailored access control plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations during all work activities.
