Job summary

Network IT Recruitment seeks an experienced Security Installation Team Lead to drive the preparation and delivery of security systems in secure/government environments, with possible overseas travel. You will manage a team of onsite engineers, review designs, coordinate prep and site delivery, and perform hands-on installation activities in a customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• Strong installation leadership in security systems delivery.
• Experience installing CCTV, access control, public address or data cabling.
• Experience in high-security/government environments.
• Ability to supervise installation teams onsite.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Level 3 electrical/electronic qualification or equivalent.
• SMSTS or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Current ECS card at the appropriate competency level.
• British Citizenship and ideally active DV clearance.
• Willingness to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of on-site engineers during installation and delivery.

• Provide hands-on installation oversight for CCTV, access control, PA and cabling.
• Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Network IT is looking for an experienced Security Installation Team Lead to lead the preparation and delivery of technical security systems in secure and government environments, with possible travel overseas.

Please note this is a DV Cleared role, and you must be a British Citizen to be considered.

Our client is looking for someone with team leadership experience, in the installation of physical and technical security systems, in a high security environment. You will have worked to install the likes of CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, and supporting experience in data/infrastructure cabling. You'll be managing a team of onsite engineers to review design activity, coordinate preparation, site delivery and hands on installation activity.

This is a customer facing role, where you will work with customers directly, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Rate: Circa £450 per day

Duration: 12 Months

Status: Inside IR35

Location: Milton Keynes

Working Pattern: Fully Onsite, with possible travel internationally

Essential Experience

• Strong installation experience in one or more of CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, data cabling/infrastructure or electrical/electronic systems.
• Experience working to government security standards in secure environments.
• Experience supervising or task managing installation teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Level 3 electrical/electronic qualification or relevant equivalent experience.
• SMSTS or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Current ECS card at the appropriate competency level.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Visio and Project.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel overseas.
• British Citizenship, and ideally active DV clearance (Previous clearance will be considered)
