HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Install Engineer to install CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems across Chelmsford and surrounding areas. The role involves field-based work on commercial and residential sites, coordinating with leading manufacturers and ensuring high-quality, compliant installations.

The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence, 3+ years in security, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience installing CCTV, Access Control and/or Intruder Alarm systems.
• Ideally 3+ years in the security industry; training provided for additional disciplines.
• Familiarity with multiple security system manufacturers.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Install IP CCTV systems, Access Control and Intruder Alarms.
• Cover commercial and residential sites across Chelmsford and surrounding areas.
• Work with leading security manufacturers and systems.
• Ensure installations meet high-quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers at all times.
• Complete work efficiently and accurately; support colleagues as needed.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Overtime

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Security Install Engineer to join a well-established and growing security systems company. Due to continued success and increasing demand across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, our client is expanding their engineering team and looking for a motivated individual with experience in CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm installations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Supporting colleagues and contributing to team success when required

Skills & Experience Required

• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Experience installing CCTV, Access Control and/or Intruder Alarm systems
• Ideally 3+ years' experience within the security industry, although this is desirable rather than essential
• Candidates with experience in one or two disciplines are encouraged to apply, with training provided
• Familiarity with multiple security system manufacturers
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude and self-motivation
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
