Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Cyber Security team. You will own vulnerability remediation and patch management across servers and infrastructure, working with Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Operational Support to reduce cyber risk and improve resilience.

The role requires hands-on expertise in vulnerability management, experience with Qualys, and the ability to prioritise work based on risk and impact in a fast-paced consumer environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting vulnerability remediation and patch management in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management processes and remediation lifecycles.
• Knowledge of patching for OS and applications across complex estates.
• Ability to prioritise work based on risk and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of vulnerability remediation across servers, endpoints and infrastructure platforms.
• Plan and execute OS and application patching activities across the estate.
• Prioritise remediation efforts based on risk, exploitability and business impact.
• Drive reduction of critical and high-risk vulnerabilities and backlogs.
• Use vulnerability management tools, including Qualys, to identify and remediate weaknesses.
• Validate and test remediation activities to ensure issues are resolved.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and operational teams to schedule remediation activity.
• Maintain accurate remediation records, reporting and audit evidence.
• Contribute to KPI reporting and continuous improvement of remediation processes.
• Work within change, maintenance and release management processes.
