Job summary

Talent is seeking a Security Incident Management Analyst to join our Operational Integrator team for a 6-month initial contract located on site in Preston or Inverness. The role focuses on governing incident lifecycles, escalation, and reporting in line with client policies and SLAs.

You will coordinate incidents end-to-end, validate supplier reporting in a SIAM environment, produce incident packs and dashboards, and maintain audit-ready records to support governance forums.

Qualifications

• Essential: cyber security, ITSM, or governance background.
• Solid grasp of security incident lifecycles and major incident principles.
• Strong reporting and dashboarding skills.

Role Overview

Join an Operational Integrator (OI) team within a multi-supplier SIAM environment to govern and coordinate security incident management. You will ensure security incidents are tracked, escalated, and reported in alignment with client policies, SLAs, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Incident Coordination: Monitor security incidents end-to-end, track supplier progress, and escalated high-impact, overdue, or recurring issues.
• Supplier Governance (SIAM): Validate supplier incident reporting, ensure data consistency across partners, and resolve ownership gaps.
• Reporting and Dashboards: Produce routine incident packs, track SLA compliance/trends, and present status updates to governance forums.
• Compliance and Audit: Maintain complete, traceable incident records to ensure ongoing audit readiness and process adherence.

Key Skills And Experience

• Essential: Cyber security, IT service management, or operational governance background; solid grasp of security incident lifecycles, severity levels, and major incident principles; strong reporting skills.
• Desirable: Experience in multi-supplier/SIAM, ITIL concepts, or government/defence environments.
