Job summary

LA International is seeking a Security Incident Analyst for a six-month contract, onsite in Preston or Inverness. The role is Inside IR35 and requires active SC clearance.

The role supports identifying, tracking, escalating and reporting security incidents in line with client policies and service levels, working closely with suppliers, service management and security stakeholders to ensure incident visibility, governance and audit readiness.

Qualifications

Our client is looking for a Security Incident Analyst to join their team on a six month initial contract, working onsite in either Preston or Inverness. This role is Inside IR35 and requires active SC clearance.

The role assists in ensuring security incidents are identified, tracked, escalated, and reported in accordance with client policies and agreed service levels. Working closely with suppliers, service management teams, and security stakeholders, the consultant supports incident visibility, reporting, governance activities, and audit readiness.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in cyber security, service management, operational governance, or support roles
• Understanding of security incident management processes
• Awareness of:
• Incident severity classifications
• Escalation processes
• Major incident management principles
• Strong organisational and reporting skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
