Babcock International in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a Security Guard to join our site. You will provide a professional security service, control access, and patrol restricted areas, supporting operation safety and compliance with MoD security requirements.
You will work a 35-hour week on a rotating shift, including nights and weekends, and must hold a valid UK driving licence and SIA licence. The role offers a generous holiday allowance, pension and other benefits.

As a Security Guard, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll provide a professional security service and act as a key gateway to restricted areas across Devonport. You'll play an essential role in maintaining site security, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring compliance with Ministry of Defence security requirements. Every day will bring variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a highly regulated and mission‑critical environment.
This role is based at Devonport and operates on a 35-hour average working week covering a rotating shift pattern.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
