Rate: PAYE £12.50 per hour / Umbrella £15.68 per hour

Network Recruitment Wales is seeking a Security Guard to join the Facilities & Environment team at a library in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire. This 12-week contract offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment within the Cultural, Leisure & Registration Services Directorate.About the Role
As a Security Guard, you will ensure the safety and security of library premises, staff, and visitors. This full-time role (37 hours per week) is a temporary position to cover short-term sickness, based at Commons Road, Pembroke. You will play a vital role in maintaining a secure and supportive environment for the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the security of the library premises, ensuring a safe environment for staff and visitors.
  • Conduct regular patrols and checks to prevent and address any security concerns.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, following established protocols.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Support the Facilities & Environment team in maintaining a welcoming library atmosphere.
  • Report to the hiring manager and collaborate with library staff as needed.
