Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. seeks a Security Governance professional to bridge Security & Compliance with Engineering implementation.

You will be the technical voice for Assurance, partnering with Engineering, Legal, Product Security, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable governance across systems. You will evaluate control design, implementation, and operations, develop second-line oversight, and drive a feedback loop to improve standards and governance processes across

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of how security controls are designed, implemented, operated, and scaled.
• Translate regulatory and security expectations into actionable technical requirements for engineering teams.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Product Security, and cross-functional engineering groups.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with evolving AI security, governance, and global regulatory trends.

Responsibilities

• Bridge Assurance and Engineering as the technical liaison across teams.
• Evaluate how security and compliance controls are implemented in applications, platforms, and cloud environments.
• Develop second-line oversight protocols to monitor control operation and attestations.
• Translate governance expectations into clear, testable engineering requirements.
• Lead incident review practices and postmortems for control failures.
• Report control reliability and risk trends to executive leadership.
• Represent Assurance in architecture, engineering, security, and governance discussions.
