The Security Evaluations Risk Specialist provides high-quality insights regarding facility physical security risk assessments and analysis as part of the Risk Advisory team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Knowledge of facility physical security risk assessment processes.
  3. Create and manage security assessment evaluation criteria.
  4. Develop and train risk advisors and consultants on assessment tools and guidelines.
  5. Check text for style, readability, punctuation, grammar, and adherence to style guide.
  6. Define, operationalize, and manage data-driven digital platforms for data collection and dissemination.
  7. Identify, recruit, and qualify potential risk assessment consultants.
  8. Coordinate multiple projects, administer project management and security assessment software, and track project delivery.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in homeland security, security management, emergency management, or related field.
  2. One to three years of experience in a similar role.
  3. Certifications such as PSP, CPP, CSMP, CEM are preferred.
  4. Knowledge of physical security threat, vulnerability, and risk assessment methodologies.
  5. Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Ability to present and support multi-platform digital tools.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and security audit software is a plus.
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Regular computer use, occasional lifting, and operating office equipment.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Availability for after-hours work and travel as needed.
