Security Engineer (Endpoint) - Banking

Location: Hybrid: 1 day per week in Chester

Duration: 12 months

In short:

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our advanced team, focusing on Security Engineering for Endpoint solutions. Experience with policy management platforms is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and engineering advanced endpoint security solutions using products like Trellix, BeyondTrust, and Crowdstrike.
  • Deploying enterprise security solutions via ITSM change control processes.
  • Producing high-quality technical documentation.
  • Collaborating with Security Vendor consultants and Technical Account Managers.
  • Partnering with compliance, audit, and information security teams.
  • Conducting research and providing consultancy.
  • Responding swiftly to security issues.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours within a global organization.
Technical skills and certifications:
  • Proven experience in Endpoint Security Engineering.
  • Expertise in Application Control, especially BeyondTrust.
  • Scripting skills, preferably in PowerShell and Python.
  • Experience with Trellix ePO, BeyondTrust BeyondInsight Policy Management Platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS platforms.
  • Security certification such as CISSP is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex security issues and recommend solutions.
  • Experience with data analytics tools like Splunk and PowerBI.
  • Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting techniques and strategies.
