This role asks for someone who can build and run detection and response for an AI platform, covering threats like prompt injection, model extraction, data poisoning and unauthorized access to training data or model weights. A strong candidate brings several years of hands on security operations or incident response work, plus real experience securing AI, ML or large distributed computing environments. They should be able to write their own detection logic and automation, lead incident coordination across teams, and hunt for threats that have no established patterns yet.

How it fits the AI era

AI changes the work by widening what must be watched: model outputs, training pipelines, GPU clusters and inference endpoints all become places where attacks can show up, and automated response has to keep pace with that scale.
