Job summary

Legatics is seeking a Security Engineer to secure our platform, cloud estate and internal systems. You will work with the engineering team, owning ISO 27001 work early on and helping shape AI security posture.

The role combines hands-on security across app, cloud, identity and endpoint, with incident response leadership. You will report to the Head of Engineering and work in our London office at least two days per week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering or security architect experience.
• Strong web app security knowledge and OWASP principles.
• Experience with vulnerability management and remediation.
• Securing cloud, workspace and identity platforms (SSO, CA).
• Security monitoring, log analysis and SIEM tooling experience.
• Experience investigating and responding to security incidents.
• Comfort with coding/scripting to automate security tasks.
• Clear communication to engineers and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out risk assessments for new and existing product features.
• Embed security in the SDLC via threat modelling and secure code reviews.
• Perform vulnerability analysis and remediation prioritisation with engineers.
• Operate and consolidate security scanning and posture tooling.
• Review security risk of integrations and data flows.
• Lead incident response, including supply-chain issues and comms.
