Job description

Job Title: Security Engineer Technology Projects

Location: Nationwide
Hours: Monday to Friday / Full Time
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

The Role:
We are looking for skilled and motivated Security Engineers to join our Technology Projects team. This role involves working on a range of bespoke security systems including Electric Fencing, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms. You will be responsible for installations, maintenance, and fault diagnosis, working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose faults on Electric Fence, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
  • Install bespoke security systems to a high standard
  • Conduct planned preventive maintenance
  • Identify and report defects, snags, and customer complaints
  • Manage van stock, replenishment, and stock taking
  • Solve problems and make informed recommendations
  • Demonstrate completed systems to clients and end users
  • Arrange PAT and meter calibrations for company equipment
  • Complete asset tagging and register system information
  • Record data and communicate effectively via email and IT systems

Essential Competencies:

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, or PowerFence
  • Experience with Gallagher Security Systems (Access Control or Perimeter)
  • Strong attention to detail and forward–thinking mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
  • PC and IT literacy is essential
