Job description

Our client is a major provider of Cyber Security services to the National Grid. Due to new contract awards, they are looking to recruit talented Security Engineers.

Role responsibilities

1. Fault diagnosis on electrical fence, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
2. Installation of bespoke security alarms.
3. Planned preventive maintenance on bespoke security systems.
4. Detecting and reporting defects, snags, and complaints.
5. Responsibility for van stock/replenishment and stock taking.
6. Problem solving and making diligent recommendations.
7. Demonstrating completed systems or work to clients and end users.
8. Arranging PAT and meter calibrations for company-issued equipment.
9. Completing asset tagging and registering information.

Essential experience

1. Understanding and ability to demonstrate at least one of the following disciplines: access control, CCTV, intruder, power fence.
2. Experience with Gallagher security systems (access control or perimeter).
3. Experience in a similar role.
