Job summary

IntaPeople: STEM Recruitment partners with a growing cyber security consultancy to hire a Security Engineer to join their Security Operations team. You will work with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender technologies, developing detections, and supporting clients in an MSSP environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on KQL, Azure security, Python automation, incident response, and collaboration across client environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Security Engineer, Detection Engineer or SOC Analyst role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
• Advanced KQL skills.
• Experience working within an MSSP or managed security services environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR and Defender for Office 365.
• Strong understanding of security operations, threat detection and incident response.
• SC-200, SC-100, AZ-500, CISSP or similar certifications.
• Azure security experience.
• Python or security automation experience.

Responsibilities
