Job summary

A leading mobility solutions provider in Bedford is seeking a Security Officer to join their Security Team. This role involves protecting company premises, conducting patrols, and providing emergency response cover. Candidates must have a good standard of education, and an SIA Licence is preferred. This position operates on a 4 on 4 off 12-hour shift pattern. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including life cover and family-friendly policies.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education.
• SIA Licence preferred but not mandatory.
• First Aid at Work Certificate preferred but training will be provided.
• Professional Firefighting qualification or experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Protect premises, assets, and personnel.
• Provide Emergency Response cover using relevant equipment.
• Conduct site entrance control and mobile patrols.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of individuals.
• Inspect and adjust security systems and equipment.
