Job summary

Rise Technical in Wolverhampton is offering a hands-on role in security design with full training to move into a Design Engineer position. The role combines design, bids, estimations and drawings for high-end security projects with a hybrid/home-office setup and client site visits.

You will work closely with sales and projects teams, gain exposure to CCTV, access control and intrusion systems, and receive comprehensive training in design processes and proposals.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with Security Installation/Commission Engineering.
• Looking to develop into a Design/Sales role.
• Experience working with CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detective Systems.
• Driver and proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop design ideas and take part in bids, estimations and quotations.
• Produce schematic drawings to accompany proposals using Visio.
• Collaborate with sales and projects teams on high-end security systems.
• Travel to client sites as needed and work in a hybrid/home-office setup.

They are going from strength to strength and are seeking a hands-on Security Installation Engineer to take the next step in their career and move into a Security Design Engineer role.

In this role, you'll be involved in the design and bid processes -being the to-go-to-person between the sales and projects team for high-end Security projects. You'll be producing quotations, estimation and schematic technical documents for interesting and highly specialised security system design projects.

When training there will be the requirement to be at their Wolverhampton offices, but the role tends to be worked on a hybrid/remote arrangement, with an expectation to travel to client site as and when needed.

THE ROLE

• Full training to apply your hands on Security Engineering background into a Design role
• Working with sales team to produce designs, bids, estimations and quotation on projects
• Using Microsoft VISIO to produce schematic drawings to compliment proposals
• Focus on CCTV, IP video systems, Access control systems etc.
• Hybrid role split between home/office and visits to client site
