Experience in sheet metal fabrication is a plus, along with excellent communication skills. Qualifications
HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering is required.
Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
Experience in sheet metal fabrication and welded assemblies is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and methodical design approach needed.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards is expected.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain detailed 3D/2D CAD models and drawings.
Prepare bill of materials and production packs for fabrication.
Support sales and estimating teams with design input.
Liaise with production and quality control for accuracy.
