Job Description:

Harrington Starr’s global client is seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) / Insider Threat Analyst to join their Cyber Security Engineering team. The role focuses on protecting the organization from data loss and theft.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Developing and administering DLP policies
2. Analyzing and triaging DLP violations
3. Participating in cyber incidents with a DLP focus
4. Collaborating with Security Operations and Engineering teams on DLP strategy
5. Reporting on DLP incidents
6. Developing firm-wide data loss prevention strategies
7. Utilizing DLP tools such as Microsoft Purview

Requirements:

1. Experience in a dedicated DLP or cyber security role with a focus on DLP
2. Hands-on experience with DLP policies, incident management, data protection, and reporting
3. Experience with Microsoft Purview, M365, and Proofpoint technologies
4. Practical experience with End-User Behavior Analytics (EUBA) and Insider Risk Management
5. Good understanding of cyber and information security
6. Certifications such as Microsoft SC-400, AZ-500, MS-900, or CISSP are preferred
