Job summary

DXC Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Security Cyber Risk & Compliance Specialist to join our on-site Farnborough team.

You will support security initiatives, help implement policies and standards, monitor events and incidents, assist audits, and contribute to security awareness training, while collaborating with multiple departments to strengthen compliance and information security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in information security.
• Familiarity with risk management, compliance and security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel.
• Assist in implementing security policies and standards, collaborating with the security team.
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating and documenting as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.

• Contribute to incident response activities, participating in investigations and reporting.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Relevant experience in industry, with a background in a similar role.
• Proven experience in information security.
• Proficiencies in risk management, compliance, and security technologies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus!
