DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Technical Security Architect to support a client’s Joint Design Team security lead in providing technical security guidance and architecture design. This is a site-based role in Hampshire requiring on-site work and UK security clearance.
The successful candidate will design and implement Zero Trust security architectures, align with NIST SP 800-207, IAM, cloud security, and risk management, working with stakeholders across delivery teams.
Job Description: Technical Security Architect Hampshire (site-based) DXC Technology is looking for an experienced Technical Security Architect to support a client’s Joint Design Team security lead in the provision of technical security advice and guidance to the Joint Design Team and relevant client Third Parties. This is a critical, site-based role responsible for ensuring the right skills are in place at the right time to meet client demand, working closely with account leadership, delivery teams, and recruitment. Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support, the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including the applicable residency requirements for the role, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some roles may also be subject to nationality requirements where these are necessary to meet UK Government or contractual security obligations. The Role A senior cybersecurity professional responsible for designing and implementing security architectures based on the Zero Trust principle of “never trust, always verify.” The role focuses on protecting enterprise systems, applications, data, and cloud environments by enforcing strong identity and access controls, least‑privilege access, continuous authentication, micro‑segmentation, and robust monitoring. You will work closely with business, security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to develop security roadmaps, assess risks, integrate modern security technologies, and ensure alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST 800‑207. The role requires extensive experience in security architecture, cloud security, identity management, and enterprise risk management, combined with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills to drive security transformation programmes across the organisation.
