Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Security Cyber, Risk & Compliance professional to help manage security initiatives and ensure compliance across the organization. The role is based in Farnborough onsite, requiring eligibility for UK government security requirements and a right to work in the United Kingdom.

You will support policy implementation, monitor security events, and collaborate with various departments to strengthen controls and awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Relevant experience in information security and a related industry role.
• Proven experience in information security and risk management.
• Proficiencies in risk management, compliance and security technologies; ongoing learning.
• Certs such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel.
• Assist in implementing security policies and standards, collaborating with the security team.
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating and documenting as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.
• Aid in compliance efforts, assisting in audits and ensuring documentation is up to date.
• Contribute to incident response activities, participating in investigations and reporting.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.
• Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees.

Security Cyber, Risk & Compliance

Location: Farnborough (onsite 5 days per week)

Due to the nature of the work and the customers we support, the successful candidate must be eligible to meet UK Government and contractual personnel security requirements, including the applicable residency requirements for the role, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Some roles may also be subject to nationality requirements where these are necessary to meet UK Government or contractual security obligations.
