Job summary

PentenAmio is seeking a Security Coordinator to strengthen physical, personnel and information security across the company, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners.

You will help manage access control, incident reporting, crypto custody, and support ISO27001 and UK NSV compliance while promoting security culture and continuous improvement. Hybrid work and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a security environment with mandated policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of GOVS007, HMG IA S4 and JSP 440/490 relevant to MOD.
• Awareness of ISO27001 and cyber security principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and information management systems.
• Ability to obtain UK National Security Vetting at DV level or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of physical, personnel and information security.
• Administer access control, intruder alarm and CCTV, issue IDs and manage keys.
• Manage visitor security processes, clearances and offsite travel security.
• Ensure sensitive assets are recorded, stored and accessible to authorised personnel.
• Assist with asset musters, investigations and incident reports.
• Coordinate secure destruction of classified assets with witnesses and documentation.
• Act as Alternate Crypto Custodian, supporting key material management and audits.
• Support security culture, awareness training and supplier due diligence.

Typical Activities

Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders across People & Culture, Security, Executive Leadership and external customers, suppliers and sub-contractors, the Security Coordinator will support the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of physical, personnel and information security across the company.

• Support the day-to-day administration of physical, personnel and information security in accordance with mandated policies and standards, including HMG Security Controls, IPSA and ISO27001.
• Administer access control, intruder alarm and CCTV systems, including issuing personnel identity cards and managing keys and secure containers.
• Manage visitor security processes, including checking clearances and confirming security requirements for personnel travelling offsite.
• Ensure sensitive assets are appropriately recorded, handled, stored and made available only to authorised personnel with the appropriate clearance and need-to-know.
• Support the receipt, packaging, dispatch and secure transportation of sensitive items, including courier arrangements.
• Assist with asset musters, investigations and the preparation of security incident reports.
• Coordinate the secure destruction of classified assets, ensuring appropriate witnesses and documentation are in place.
• Act as Alternate Crypto Custodian, supporting the Primary Custodian with cryptographic account management, audits, briefings and de-briefings.
• Support the generation of key material in accordance with Key Orders and agreed SLAs.
• Help maintain and strengthen the Company's security culture, including security awareness, training, process improvement, supplier security due diligence and administration of the Security Service Desk.

What we're looking for

• Experience or knowledge of working within a security environment and performing duties in accordance with mandated security policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of HMG Security Controls and Procedures, including GOVS007, HMG IA S4 and relevant MOD JSPs such as JSP 440/490.
• Knowledge of cyber and information security principles.
• Awareness of ISO27001.
• Excellent attention to detail and experience developing and maintaining effective information management systems.
• Highly organised, efficient and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of assigned tasks and operate with a high level of integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain UK National Security Vetting at DV level or equivalent.
• Willingness and ability to complete Crypto Custodian Certification Training and relevant DISA courses.
• Experience of Crypto account management.
• Experience supporting ISO27001 and/or Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
• Experience supporting security due diligence of suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Experience of personnel security/vetting processes within a Government or Defence environment.
• Experience identifying security gaps and contributing to improvements in security processes and ways of working.

Qualifications & Eligibility

To be eligible for this position you must:

• Have relevant experience working in a security environment, ideally within a Government, Defence or similarly regulated organisation; and,
• Be a British citizen; and
• Hold, or be eligible to hold, UK National Security Vetting (NSV) at DV level or equivalent.
