About The Role

As a Control Room Operative, you will play a vital role in supporting our security operations and helping to keep our clients, employees and sites safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Working within our National Control Centre, you will be responsible for monitoring alarms and CCTV systems, coordinating responses to incidents, supporting our Mobile Response Officers and maintaining regular communication with clients, keyholders and operational teams. No two shifts are the same, and you will need to be able to think clearly, prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure.

This is a fast-paced and varied role where attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach are essential. You will become a key part of our operational team, ensuring incidents are managed professionally and that our customers receive an exceptional level of service at all times.

About You

We are looking for a confident, professional and dependable individual who enjoys working in a busy operational environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

You will be an effective communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure. You will be comfortable working with multiple systems, managing competing priorities and responding quickly to changing situations.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience within a security, control room, CCTV monitoring or operational environment, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

You will also:

• Hold a valid SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervisor or CCTV Licence) or be willing to undertake the necessary training.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be confident using Microsoft Office and operational systems.
• Have strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate reports.
• Be reliable, professional and customer-focused.
• Be able to work a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Be willing to undergo pre-employment screening and vetting checks.
