Purpose of the role
Support 'secure by design' principles, aiding the bank’s change programs, designing and implementing secure systems across data security, risk management, asset security, security architecture (including cloud security), communications, networks, security operations, software development, security testing, and identity and access management (IAM).
Accountabilities
- Oversee technology change governance within control functions or security guilds.
- Conduct security risk assessments and develop threat models during the development lifecycle to identify vulnerabilities and embed security controls.
- Facilitate DevSecOps practices by engaging early with stakeholders for security advice and influence security strategies to support business and technology evolution.
- Provide security reviews for third-party products and services.
- Manage residual risks in accordance with the enterprise risk management framework.
- Collaborate on incident response and investigations, sharing security insights.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with risk tolerance and regulatory requirements.
