An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Security Compliance Officer to join their Security and Matchday Safety Department. This role is essential in maintaining safety protocols at the Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. You'll be responsible for overseeing security measures, managing contractors, and ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. The position demands a proactive individual with a valid SIA Security Guard Licence and experience in security roles. Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, (Including working a shift pattern, including days; nights, evenings & weekends)

Salary: £30,501 per annum

The Club’s Security and Matchday Safety Department are vital to the Club in ensuring that our people and premises remain safe and protected. We provide a 24/7 service across all sites and the department is now expanding to ensure we can continue to deliver excellence.
Working as part of a team of Security Compliance Officers, you will oversee and maintain the security protocols at the Club’s Bodymoor Heath Training Ground. Providing a day-to-day, onsite, visible security presence will be the primary function of your role. You will be a Club ambassador and provide a welcoming and professional first impression to any staff and visitors. The role will be incredibly varied, and your day-to-day activities will include (but are not limited to):
The successful postholder must hold a current SIA Security Guard Licence and have previous experience in a Security Officer role. You must also be available to work shift pattern arrangements which will include working flexibly across days, nights and weekends.
Ideally, you will have the ability to respond and attend onsite incidents and manage difficult situations, requests, queries, and challenging enquiries in a professional manner. You will also have experience in resolving conflict and incidents as they arise with the ability to maintain accurate written and electronic records. You will also have experience monitoring CCTV systems, access control, fire alarms, and intruder alarms.
You will be a team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude, an individual who enjoys working as part of a successful team to achieve a common goal, as well as someone who has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with different audiences. You will also be proficient in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
