The role

This is a vital role in ensuring that Stansted Airport complies with Regulatory and MAG policies, standards, and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Overall accountability for our Security Management System
  2. Providing security advice to external and internal stakeholders
  3. Updating protocols, processes, and procedures to align with our Airport Security Programme
  4. Reviewing our Risk Register and other governance to ensure compliance
  5. Taking all appropriate actions to meet regulatory standards
  6. Delivering performance improvement projects and training throughout the department
  7. Keeping informed and reporting on emerging trends and changes within the security industry
  8. Working collaboratively with the wider business to ensure all systems and procedures are effectively implemented and formalized
  9. Investigating security breaches and non-compliance of internal and external parties and advising on appropriate actions
What will make you successful in the role?

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Good knowledge of security regulations and local procedures
  • Prior experience within the Aviation Security sector
  • Experience in Risk Management
  • A collaborative approach
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Understanding of ASAID and DFT Governance

A valid driving license and eligibility to achieve Counter Terrorist Clearance (CTC) are required for this role.
