Job summary

University of East Anglia seeks a Security Manager to lead on security compliance and service delivery for the University and third-party clients. You will oversee training development, SOPs, risk assessments and KPIs, coordinating with stakeholders to improve operations while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and the ability to manage competing priorities; 36.25 hours weekly, with some flexibility for meetings or incidents

Qualifications

• Substantial recent experience in security management or compliance.
• Educated to GCSE Grade C in Maths and English.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on security compliance, operational standards and service delivery for third-party clients.
• Oversee development and review of training, Standard Operating Procedures, risk assessments and KPIs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and a safe, secure service.
