About the Role

To be employed in this role, you must be over 18 and pass a basic safeguarding check.

Our stores operate 24/7, offering various shift patterns. If you seek flexible working, this role can accommodate that, with weekend work being a requirement. We may need to be flexible with your shifts.

At Asda, safety and security are priorities. Security colleagues safeguard our staff and customers, helping them feel secure. Your responsibilities include patrols and checks of the store's interior and exterior for damage, break-ins, or tampering with cash machines. You will perform daily fire door checks, clear obstructions, and maintain records. You may need to handle conflicts and support colleagues and customers' safety. Additional duties include conducting spot checks on vehicles, ensuring paperwork is complete, and supporting various store processes.
