Job summary

Experis is seeking an Assurance Manager to join in Farnborough on a 5-month contract. The role provides independent second-line assurance across risk areas and requires active security clearance.

You will lead assurance reviews, evaluate risk management, governance and compliance, and deliver evidence-based reports with findings and recommendations to strengthen controls. Stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Assurance, Internal Audit or Risk functions.
• Professional training or certifications in Assurance, Audit, Quality Management or Evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead assurance reviews as part of the Annual Assurance Programme, including planning, stakeholder engagement, fieldwork and reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management frameworks, controls and mitigation strategies.
• Assess the adequacy of governance processes, compliance programmes and control environments.
• Produce clear, evidence-based assurance reports, outlining findings, risks and improvement recommendations.
• Identify control weaknesses and opportunities for process enhancement and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and track agreed actions to ensure timely remediation and effective closure.
• Review compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory obligations.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
• Conduct targeted risk reviews and investigations as required.
• Support and promote a positive assurance and governance culture throughout the business.
• Monitor and report on KPIs and metrics aligned to corporate control frameworks.
