Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence in Corsham is seeking a Project Manager / PMO Scheduler to support delivery in a security-focused, technology-led environment. The role combines project coordination, scheduling and PMO activities within a hybrid setup.

The successful candidate will maintain delivery plans, track milestones and provide clear progress updates to stakeholders, with active SC clearance and experience in complex regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Project Manager/PMO/ Scheduler role.
• Experience creating, maintaining and updating project schedules.
• Understanding of PM principles, milestones, dependencies and delivery reporting.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience maintaining project documentation, action logs and RAID registers.
• Confident communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a structured delivery environment.
• Active SC security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update project plans, schedules and milestones.
• Monitor progress against plans, identifying delays, risks and dependencies.
• Support project managers with daily delivery and coordination.
• Provide PMO support, including RAID logs and action trackers.
• Prepare progress reports and scheduling updates for stakeholders.
• Coordinate inputs from technical teams to maintain delivery plans.
• Support governance meetings and ensure actions are followed up.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain accurate project information in line with governance requirements.
