Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Machine Learning/AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of AI-centric solutions within strategic programmes. You will architect scalable AI inferences, tune models, and ensure governance across projects.

The role requires active SC clearance, deep AWS expertise (S3, Lambda, EventBridge), and experience with OpenVINO or similar tools, plus MLOps pipelines. Remote with London travel.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance required.
• Experience delivering AI-focused projects within large programmes.
• Experience hosting and tuning AI models for scalable inference.
• Experience with AI platforms and processes (OpenVINO, MLOps, SageMaker).
• Data governance and AI assurance experience.
• Strong AWS experience (S3, Lambda, EventBridge/SQS/SNS).
• Experience coordinating with supplier and internal DevOps teams.
• Strong senior stakeholder management experience.
• Ability to translate architecture for senior stakeholders.
• Broad enterprise architecture experience.
