Job summary
MASS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support FM projects and maintain a MOD facility. The role is on customer site with an on‑call roster and up to 14 weekend maintenance days per year.
Responsibilities include planned and reactive maintenance, project work as directed by Supervising Engineers, and maintaining logbooks. Candidates should hold Level 2 NVQ in Engineering Maintenance and be eligible for UK clearance. Driving licence required.
Qualifications
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma or equivalent in Engineering Maintenance/Mechanical Systems.
- Experience in Facilities Maintenance.
- General knowledge of safe isolation of electrical supplies/procedures.
- Experience using AutoCAD Essentials or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Carrying out project work as tasked by Supervising Engineers.
- Ensure scheduled logbook activities are completed.
- Work a minimum of one maintenance weekend per month up to a maximum of 14 weekends per year.
