Job summary

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking an experienced Security Assurance Manager to oversee safety, compliance and performance of electronic security systems across a major government contract. You will act as the technical authority for CCTV, access control and intruder alarms, shaping standards and driving assurance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electronic security systems and security compliance environments.
• Proven ability to audit, assure or manage security service delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as UK&I Subject Matter Expert for electronic security systems.
• Develop, implement and maintain security governance, policies, procedures and technical standards.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, British Standards, client requirements and internal governance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams and senior stakeholders.
• Review security designs, maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle plans.
• Lead audits, inspections and assurance reviews across multiple sites.
• Monitor security service performance and compliance against SLAs and contracts.
• Manage specialist contractors and third-party service providers.
• Investigate security incidents and corrective actions.
• Support client audits and governance meetings.
• Maintain security asset management and compliance reporting.
• Identify risks and drive performance across the security workstream.
