Job summary

Security Assurance Co-ordinator - Long-term Contract in London

WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a Security Assurance Co-ordinator for a long-term contract supporting a Public Sector client based in London.

The successful candidate must meet the following essential criteria:

• Experience working in a secure or regulated environment (e.g., Defence, Government, Nuclear, Finance).
• Strong background in information security, compliance, or assurance.
• Confident communicator across technical, military, and civilian stakeholders.
• Proven ability in audits and physical assurance checks.
• Strong judgement, initiative, and ability to operate effectively in a small, high-trust team.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Government Security Clearance.

Additional preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with or understanding of CASD (Customer Access Security Device).
• Knowledge of PKI operations and secure credentialing.
• ITILv4 Foundation or Agile SAFe Foundation certifications.
• Previous experience within the MOD, Defence Digital, or another secure government department.
• Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., BCS, ISACA, IISP).

Please note, this role has been deemed by the client to fall inside IR35. No remote working is permitted; applicants must be able to attend the main office in central London.
