Job summary

Vix Technology is seeking a Security Architect in Manchester (Hybrid) to shape the security posture across cloud, applications, and data platforms. You will partner with engineering and product teams to embed security-by-design and advance Zero Trust, IAM and compliance with PCI, ISO, CIS, NIST and GDPR.

You will guide architecture decisions, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive incident readiness and resilience initiatives to protect a global mobility platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in security architecture across cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Proven ability to translate security requirements into design decisions.
• Experience with AWS and modern DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise security architecture across cloud, app, infra, and data platforms.
• Embed security-by-design principles with engineering and product teams.
• Drive Zero Trust adoption and modern IAM strategies.
• Implement controls aligned with PCI, ISO, CIS, NIST, GDPR, and other standards.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and influence strategic decisions.
• Lead incident readiness and resilience initiatives.
• Shape cloud security strategy for network segmentation and secure CI/CD pipelines.
