Job summary

Methods Business and Digital Technology is seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead security architecture across a major transformation programme in London. You will define security principles, controls and assurance across identity, endpoints, Microsoft 365, apps, infrastructure and networks, ensuring secure progression through coexistence and target-state phases.

You will work at the intersection of security, architecture and delivery, challenging designs where needed while enabling

Qualifications

• Experienced Security Architect across complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Proven ability to implement Zero Trust and defence-in-depth in large programmes.
• Ability to map security controls to architecture and risk.
• Experience documenting security architectures, risk assessments and control matrices.

Responsibilities

• Provide security architecture leadership across the transformation programme.
• Define and assure security principles, patterns, standards and control requirements.
• Assess threats, risks, vulnerabilities and gaps across current and target states.
• Develop proportionate security controls for secure coexistence between environments.
• Define and assure Zero Trust principles across identity, devices, data and network access.
• Review security exceptions and document residual risk and compensating controls.
• Maintain security architecture documentation and architecture decision records.
• Support security testing, assurance activities and operational readiness.
