Job summary

eFinancialCareers in Manchester is seeking a Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust security across platforms and services. You will embed security from the ground up within Agile delivery teams to protect every stage of the software development lifecycle.

You will drive innovation by applying new technologies, share knowledge, and mentor staff, coaching teams to solve complex security challenges while communicating clearly with technical and non-technical

Qualifications

Proven experience in secure design and delivery of cloud services and solutions.
Identify security issues in system designs and recommend mitigations balancing cost, risk and usability.
Experience in AI/ML, Cloud, Security Architecture, M365 or Data.
Strong knowledge of standards and regulations (NCSC, ISO, SoC, NIST, PCI, GDPR).
Background in application/infrastructure architecture and secure SDLC testing.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of security across platforms and services.
Embed security from the ground up within Agile delivery teams to protect every stage of the SDLC.
Coach and develop staff; mentor teams; manage performance and guide, develop performance.
Educate clients and team members on security best practices.
Drive innovation by applying new technologies and approaches.
