Job summary

LA International is seeking a Security Architect for a client project. All work is on-site in the UK with Glasgow, Farnborough or Newcastle as possible locations and an active DV clearance is required. This contract is Inside IR35.

The role involves designing and delivering platform security controls, enterprise EDR, vulnerability management lifecycles, and producing formal security documentation (HLDs, LLDs, SOPs). Experience in air-gapped environments is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience operating as a Security Architect or senior security SME within secure or regulated environments.
• Experience designing platform security controls for firewalls, ports, protocols and NCSC guidance.
• Experience with Enterprise Antivirus / EDR solutions.
• Experience with Vulnerability Management platforms and processes.
• Experience in offline / air-gapped environments: secure update and patching models; AV signature and threat intelligence management; controlled data transfer mechanisms.
• Experience implementing vulnerability management lifecycles: assessment, prioritisation, remediation, reporting.
• Strong understanding of endpoint hardening and system security controls.
• Experience producing formal technical documentation: HLDs, LLDs, security architecture docs, SOPs.

We have a new requirement for a Security Architect to work for a client of ours.

All work will be completed on-site in one of Farnborough, Glasgow or Newcastle and an active DV clearance is required.

This contract role has been determined as falling Inside IR35.

Skills required

• Demonstrable experience operating as a Security Architect or senior security SME within secure or regulated environments
• Proven experience designing and delivering:
  • Platform security controls for firewalls, ports, protocols and NCSC guidance
  • Enterprise AntiVirus / Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
  • Vulnerability Management platforms and processes
• Strong experience working within offline / air-gapped environments, including:
  • Secure update and patching models
  • AV signature and threat intelligence management
  • Controlled data transfer mechanisms
• Experience implementing vulnerability management lifecycles, including assessment, prioritisation, remediation, and reporting
• Strong understanding of endpoint hardening and system security controls
• Demonstrable experience producing formal technical documentation, including:
  • High-Level Designs (HLDs)
  • Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
  • Security architecture documentation
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
