Job summary

LA International, a global systems integrator, is seeking a DV cleared Security Architect to design, build, and assure backend platform security and endpoint protection in air-gapped environments, Glasgow preferred but site flexibility.

You will apply the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MoD security policies, deliver security controls, antivirus and vulnerability management, and engage with stakeholders across client sites. DV clearance or eligibility and 18 weeks clearance process apply.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and assuring backend security in high‑assurance environments.
• Ability to apply NIST CSF and MoD security policies to infrastructure and endpoints.
• Experience with antivirus and vulnerability management platforms.

Our client is a global systems integrator who require a DV cleared Security Architect to support one of their new programmes.

• DURATION: 31/03/2027 (SCOPE TO EXTEND)
• CLEARANCE: DV
• RATE: £550-£650 PER DAY (INSIDE IR35)
• CLEARANCE: DV
• LOCATION: PREFERENCE GLASGOW - POSSIBILITY OF BEING BASED AT ANOTHER CLIENT SITE

An experienced Security Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME) is required to support the design, build, and assurance of Backend Platform and endpoint protection and vulnerability management capabilities within secure, offline (air-gapped) environments.

The Architect must apply the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and MoD security policies to the backend platform, while supporting the Security and Infrastructure teams in designing and implementing security controls across the infrastructure and end-user endpoints.

The role will provide specialist expertise in the delivery of Security controls, AntiVirus and Vulnerability Management platforms. The successful candidate will operate within high-assurance environments, ensuring compliance with security policies, while engaging directly with stakeholders across customer sites.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take a minimum 18 weeks.
