Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Security Architect to bridge business needs with robust security controls across projects. You will design secure architectures for networks, systems, and cloud, and guide AI/LLM deployments with defense-in-depth measures.

The role requires significant experience in information security architecture, cloud security, and secure SDLC practices, with a focus on influencing projects and maturing security governance.

Qualifications

• Typically 7+ years in Information Security/IT with architecture focus.
• Strong cloud security experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) and governance.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and secure SDLC / DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Design secure architectures for networks, systems, apps and cloud.
• Assess guardrails for AI agents with tool-use/autonomous action.
• Incorporate data governance for AI training data and PII handling.
• Review solutions for security alignment and governance.
• Produce architectural artefacts and reference patterns.
• Embed security requirements into projects and RFI/RFPs.
• Mentor engineering teams on secure design principles.
• Support compliance through the security strategy execution.
