Your mission

Reporting to the Head of Information Security, we are looking for a Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of security controls within our software services and applications used daily by our employees and clients.

You will contribute to shaping the company's security strategy, develop and implement security policies and procedures, and work closely with product teams to embed security into our culture and workflows.

You will guide engineering teams on security measures across data centers and cloud environments and advocate for automation of routine security tasks like scanning, patching, and configuration management to focus on strategic initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Define and lead the security vision and strategy, aligning with business goals and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, business, and operations, to align security solutions with business objectives, including communication with senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Mentor and coach team members on security and architecture topics, fostering trust and collaboration across the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance to product teams on security architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Establish and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
  • Lead threat modeling, penetration testing, and security reviews with Software & Security Engineering teams.
  • Design secure architectures for on-premise and cloud infrastructures, and develop frameworks for securing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement and manage security systems to defend organizational infrastructure, data, and applications.
  • Facilitate security training and awareness programs for all employees.
  • Respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement lessons learned.
  • Stay updated on security trends, threats, and technologies to improve the company's security posture.
  • Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for incident resolution.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in security engineering or software architecture, preferably in finance or blockchain sectors.
  • Experience as a Lead Engineer or Architect, with a proven record of delivering results and managing stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of security principles, frameworks, standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
  • Familiarity with security assessments, audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment, managing multiple initiatives.
  • Experience developing secure code and managing SDLC processes.
  • Experience leading security awareness programs.
  • Experience handling security incidents, breaches, and forensic analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, capable of conveying technical information effectively.
