Security Architect

£60k – £70k per year + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Our client is urgently seeking an experienced Security Architect to join their team on a permanent basis.

Note: The role requires on-site presence 3-4 days per week.

The Security Architect will be responsible for managing the organisation’s security infrastructure, defining and assessing security strategies, architecture, and practices. Key responsibilities include identifying IT security risks, translating them into technical controls, and managing outcomes to meet objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Security Architecture
• Strong background in Cyber Security
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
• Knowledge of threat modelling methodologies for new applications and services
• Understanding of information security standards
• Experience working with external audits and certifications
• Familiarity with ISO27001 standards
• Knowledge of NIS regulation and NCSC cyber assurance framework (CAF)
• Understanding digitalisation in regulated environments
• Experience managing complex projects with competing priorities
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (waterfall, agile, DevOps, etc.)
