Security Solution Architect
3-month Contract
Outside IR35
Remote
Active SC Clearance - Essential

Key responsibilities

• Working with stakeholders to deliver solutions that enhance maturity and reduce risk, aligned with Programme objectives.
• Engage with business units to understand and balance conflicting priorities and constraints.
• Collaborate with technical and service teams to implement security solutions that support cybersecurity operations.
• Lead solution option assessments, guided by Enterprise Architecture, to define maintainable solutions that meet business needs.
• Design key solutions for re-architecture initiatives (e.g. transition to data-centric architecture in the Cyber Defence workstream).
• Assist with procurement of security solutions.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber SMEs to ensure alignment with the wider organisation
• Provide support for tactical initiatives as needed.

Required Experience

• Proactive approach and ability to lead and shape complex deliveries in collaboration with internal teams and suppliers.
• Proven experience as a Security Solutions Architect
• Strong architectural and design skills, with the ability to develop scalable and secure solutions that operate as services
• Experience with at least one Enterprise Architecture framework (Zachman, Togaf SABSA or similar)
• Experience of supporting procurement exercises and implementations
