Security Architect - Active SC Clearance

A Government Organisation requires a Contract Security Architect who has Active SC Clearance to support on Security Assurance ensuring that SbD is embedding & aligning to CAF Framework.

• Day Rate: £600-£650pd
• IR35 Status: Outside
• Duration: 10 months initially
• Travel: 1 day a week in Central London

This Security Architect will have the following previous experience:

• Has Active SC Clearance & worked within a Government Org focussing on Security Assurance embedding SbD
• Developed and maintained enterprise-wide Security Assurance frameworks and guidance aligned to ISO 27001, CAF, and Secure by Design (SBD) principles.
• Led security risk assessments and third-party testing, managing remediation actions and ensuring consistent application of assurance methodologies.
• Oversaw governance and compliance processes, providing analysis and reporting to assess security maturity and support strategic decision-making.
• Authored and implemented security policies and standards, integrating controls and secure configurations across systems and processes.
• Engaged with stakeholders and suppliers to embed assurance requirements, monitor compliance, and build organisational security capability.
