Role Overview: The Security Analyst in the GovPass Product Team will design and develop security measures for the GovPass Service and Products, maintain security documentation, and develop security strategies for new technologies. The role supports the Product Manager by providing technical solutions and advice to ensure security aligns with business goals.

This role will also influence cross-directorate product management practices within GPA. As the product matures or government needs evolve, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recommend security controls and identify solutions supporting business objectives
2. Provide specialist advice and recommend approaches to teams and stakeholders
3. Communicate with other stakeholders, agencies, and authorities
4. Advise on security technologies and assess risks of proposed changes
5. Inspire and influence others to adhere to security principles
6. Review and provide feedback on colleagues’ work
7. Recommend security risk assessment approaches and mitigation strategies
8. Identify improvements within existing security frameworks and suggest enhancements
