Security Agent/ Driver

Our client, a well-respected market leader in providing international freight forwarding and logistics solutions for high value goods, is recruiting for a Security Agent/ Driver to join their team at offices in the London, Heathrow area.

This is a new role to join a new freight forwarding & logistics team specialising in handling the movement of high value goods. An exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding organisation with a vision to further establish its global leading position within the industry.

Main Purpose of the Role:

Becoming a part of a busy team, the Security Agent / Driver will work closely with colleagues to deliver an excellent service experience to all clients.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Security Agent/ Driver:

• Timely pick-up and delivery of high value shipments.
• Updating and maintaining logs.
• Loading and unloading shipments from vehicle.
• Ensure all quality control, safety and protection procedures are updated and adhered to.
• Provide great customer service at all times.
• Conduct vehicle checks at the start and end of the day.
• Attend shows and events when needed.

To be Considered:

• Valid full clean UK driving licence.
• No criminal convictions or driving bans subject to full DBS check.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in handling the movement of high value goods is desirable.
• Out of hours and/or weekend availability may be required.
• Excellent time keeping skills; must be flexible and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative.
• Possession of a licence of Security Operator (SIA) is a plus.
